Barbiturates
Name: Barbiturates Other Names: Barbs, goof balls, pinks, red devils and yellow jackets. What it Looks Like: These are generally prescription drugs that come as tablets, and capsules of different colors, shapes and sizes, depending on the manufacturer. How Used: Most commonly swallowed and sometimes injected. Effect: Used as a relaxant and to generate a state of euphoria. Possible noticeable symptoms of use, abuse or withdrawal: - Clumsiness
- Difficulty focusing / thinking / talking
- Difficulty walking
- Needle tracks / vein damage
- Poor balance / falling / bruises
- Poor judgment
- Possession of hypodermic needles
- Pupils contracted
- Sleepiness
- Slurred speech
- Weakness / shakiness
